Camera and microphone
Prompter Plus uses the camera and microphone only while the prompter screen is open, to show the live preview and to record the clips you start. Recording happens on your device. Video and audio are never uploaded to us or to any third party by the app.
Your scripts and recordings
Scripts you paste, type or import, and the clips you record, are stored only in the app's storage on your iPhone. A clip leaves the app only when you choose to: Save to Photos adds it to your photo library (with your permission), and Share sends it to the destination you pick (for example AirDrop, Files or a messaging app). Files you import are read once to extract their text; the original file is not kept or uploaded.
Usage statistics and crash reports
To improve the app we use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. They collect anonymous information such as which features are used (for example "a script was created" or "a recording was saved"), app version, device model, iOS version, country/region derived from network information, and diagnostic data when the app crashes. This data is not linked to your name, email or Apple ID, it never includes the text of your scripts or your recordings, and it is not used for advertising. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and do not track you across other apps or websites.
You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Share usage data inside the app. Google processes this data under its own terms: Firebase privacy and security.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The app checks with Apple whether Premium is active. A small counter of the free clips you have used is stored in your device's Keychain.
Children
Prompter Plus is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Because we do not hold personal data that identifies you, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Deleting the app removes your scripts and recordings from the app (clips you saved to Photos stay in Photos). If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK you have the rights given by the GDPR; for any request or question write to us.

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above.

Samsung Galaxy Store and Huawei AppGallery
This section applies to com.themejunky.prompter.samsung on Samsung Galaxy Store and com.themejunky.prompter.huawei on Huawei AppGallery. For these Android editions, it takes precedence over store-specific statements elsewhere on this page.
Purchases. Galaxy Store builds use Samsung In-App Purchase (Samsung Electronics); AppGallery builds use HUAWEI IAP (Huawei/Aspiegel, depending on your region). Google Play Billing is not used. The app receives product IDs, purchase tokens or identifiers, receipts/signatures and purchase status to verify ownership, unlock Premium and restore purchases. The store handles payment details; we do not receive your card details. See the Samsung Privacy Policy and Huawei Privacy Statement and the notices shown by your store. Manage purchases and any subscriptions in the store where you bought them; uninstalling does not cancel subscriptions.
Ads. These editions contain no advertising SDK: no AdMob, UMP, Petal Ads, Liftoff or Meta Audience Network.
Analytics and crash reports (Galaxy Store). Starting with the Galaxy Store edition Prompter Plus 1.0.2 (November 2026), the Samsung build uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) for anonymous usage statistics (which screens and features are used, ad and purchase funnel events, app version, device model and OS version) and crash reports (stack traces, device state at the time of the crash and a Firebase installation identifier). This data is used only to understand usage and fix crashes, is sent over HTTPS and is processed by Google on our behalf; it is not used for advertising and the advertising ID is not collected by Analytics. Remote Config, Performance Monitoring, Cloud Messaging and App Check are not used in the Samsung build.
Analytics and push (AppGallery). The AppGallery build does not use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Performance Monitoring, Cloud Messaging or App Check. The Firebase analytics, crash-reporting and push descriptions elsewhere on this page do not apply to the AppGallery edition.
Permissions and online services. These are Android editions. Camera and microphone permissions support the preview and recordings you start. Scripts, imported text and recordings remain on the device unless you choose to export or share them. Internet access supports native purchasing and receipt checks, with no app-operated purchase-verification backend.
Politica de confidențialitate (rezumat în română)
Scripturile și clipurile tale rămân pe iPhone-ul tău. Prompter Plus nu are conturi, nu afișează reclame și nu vinde date. Camera și microfonul sunt folosite doar cât timp ecranul prompterului e deschis, iar înregistrarea se face pe telefon. Un clip pleacă din aplicație doar când alegi tu: Salvează în Poze sau Trimite.
Pentru a îmbunătăți aplicația folosim Firebase Analytics și Crashlytics (Google): statistici anonime de utilizare și rapoarte de erori, fără textul scripturilor, fără înregistrări, fără identificatorul de reclame și fără urmărire între aplicații.
